The Conservative Government has asked Dudley Council to apply for funding up to £25 millions to aid regeneration in Dudley Town Centre.
As a result a Towns Fund Board has been established with the support of Dudley Council. To help guide the board a new consultation has been launched (link below).
As the MP for Dudley North I want to ensure your voice is heard, by the board and ministers, who will have the final say on the proposals.
I believe communities must be part of originating ideas, setting objectives and visions rather than just giving feedback on proposals that are already some way along. If communities feel heard and are invested in the success of the project this should ultimately help develop a sense of pride and connectivity to place and community and this will be a valuable resource for change.
