Last week there was a protest outside of my office calling me a racist and chanting for more asylum-seekers in Dudley.
I am completely AGAINST this. I have and will always be against illegal immigration and for a complete crackdown on controlled immigration. I have been one of the loudest voices against the small boats in Parliament and locally I stopped so-called asylum seekers from being housed in the Superior Hotel here in Dudley, as well as banning these so-called asylum seekers from my advice surgeries. This doesn't make me a racist - it means I have common sense and put Dudley first.
I will never accept that we need more asylum seekers, instead we need to focus our time and resources at home. My priority is Dudley, NOT these so-called asylum seekers.
