The above letter - addressed to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Jeremy Hunt - has received my personal support.
The letter asks the Chancellor to consider a number of areas to cut tax, one of them being beer duty. It is part of my efforts to support our pub culture, which I am a big fan of.
Pub culture is about more than just protecting our heritage pubs; it's about community, jobs and business. They have played a big part in bringing people back together after Covid.
