This week, I visited one of Dudley's traditional pubs - the Jolly Crispin in Upper Gornal. And accompanying me, the Save our Heritage Pubs campaigners: Ian Sandall and Paul Turner.
This pub is full of heritage. Built from locally quarried sandstone, it has been serving beers since the 1830's.
It is another of our historic pubs that needs full protection. We should be conserving our British heritage where and when we can.
Thank you Tracy for having us, and for letting me attempt the pouring of a pint. You would think I have visited enough by now to master the technique...
