Westminster Question - Dudley Is Let Down by Labour PCC

I have the greatest respect for Police officers and PCSOs. They head towards risks when we go the other way. But THEY are being let down by management and poor leadership.

Achievements of Labour Police and Crime Commissioner Simon Foster and his predecessor:

- Years of rising crime rates in West Midlands including Dudley.

- High sexual offences rate in Dudley

- Closed our Police Station in Dudley Central and Sedgley with Brierley Hill Police station future hanging in balance.

I want to see us return quickly to neighbourhood policing models and greater cooperation with others. It was madness to centralise everything.

I agree with the Home Secretary James Cleverly, this is a failure of leadership from the PCC and I’d like to see the role deleted altogether. What has it achieved?
