In November last year, Marco Longhi MP made a pledge that he would stand up for pensioners and vote to protect the Triple Lock, whatever decision the Chancellor was going to make. Thankfully the Government listened and kept the Triple Lock
As part of this pledge, he wishes to give his full support to the WASPI campaign as there has been an unfairness toward women born in the 1950s.
Therefore, Marco held a meeting and invited WASPI representatives to attend.
It was a very constructive meeting where Angela Madden, the WASPI chair, was able to correct misapprehensions about the Campaign and tell the women about WASPI. He also declared his full support
