I recently got a chance to visit the Red Lion in Sedgley which is now run by Craft.
The Red Lion is a former 19th-century prison that is located on the Bull Ring in Sedgley.
They’ve transformed the pub with a £215,000 investment, giving it a full facelift throughout. There is a brand new seating area, new darts and pool table, and brand new toilets, and the outside has been made a more welcoming and enjoyable place.
The Bull Ring itself was used as the name suggests, up until it was made illegal. Although all signs of the former bull ring were removed in the 1930s, the roundabout and general area are still referred to as such even today.
Check out the Red Lion, Dudley if you want to see what’s on, and please do pop down when you get the chance. It’s great what they’ve done with the place!
