After having their homes flooded repeatedly during heavy rainfall, local residents contacted Marco Longhi MP to ask for his help. After many discussions with Dudley Council, plans were drawn up and work has now started.
The new drainage system is being installed to attempt to protect properties and collect more of the run-off that comes off Priory Park and surrounding roads.
There are still some issues to resolve but this has been a positive step forward to solve these issues that have affected residents along this road for years.
Woodland Avenue will be closed until Sunday 30th January whilst the work is completed.
