Yesterday Marco Longhi MP met with a senior officer and the Leader of South Staffordshire District Council for a progress update on The Crooked House.
He is completely satisfied with the Council’s action. The process being followed is by necessity cautious, detailed and very focused on the aim. For all these reasons, Marco said we must expect it is also going to take ‘as long as it takes’.
Marco added that he absolutely know people’s impatience and anxiety, for he feels the same too. But his message has not changed, it is essential that the Council and others have the time and space to do what they need to do. He call for his constituents and all those advocating for the Crooked House that ‘less is more’.
Marco understand that despite this will seem like nothing is happening for some time to come - but he can assure you that actions are taken. He urge his constituents and all those who love the Crooked House to wait and be patient.
