‘Good news for Dudley people.’
Marco Longhi MP commented the new net zero policy as ‘more common sense on Net Zero targets.’
He believes the banning of petrol and diesel cars, and practically forcing car owners to give up their cars for electric ones nobody could afford was very unfair.
It was as unfair as it is charging car owners to enter cities, like Labour has done in London via ULEZ and in other towns across the country.
He is happy that the government has taken action. He said, ‘We all want a greener planet but we must achieve this in a fairer and proportionate way.’
He added that the policies pursued before the PM’s announcements yesterday were only affordable to the richest.
