With so many heritage pubs closing down across the country - never to reopen - I thought it of upmost importance to share a success story here in Sedgley.
This week I visited the Swan Inn in Sedgley. Having been closed since February 2023, it has reopened its doors after a grand refurbishment.
The survival of the The Grade II listed real ale pub, dating from the early 19th Century, is great for local culture as well as national heritage.
With future plans for indoor and outdoor music, an outdoor bar and an Airbnb business upstairs, the Swan Inn will no doubt bring more vibrance and entertainment to the local community.
