Marco Longhi MP visited the Greyhound Trust Dudley, today, to hear about the great work they are doing, and to raise awareness of the dangers posed to dogs in the coming heatwave.
Pavements can grow to be really hot, and we can often forget that walking your dog on these can burn their paws. Marco's top tip: "Check to see how hot the surface is by placing your hand down first. If it is too hot for your hand, then just imagine what it will be like for them."
Please do take extra care to make sure your pets are not overheating!
