This week I again pledged my support on the issue of puppy smuggling at a parliamentary event run by the UK’s leading dog welfare charity, the Dogs Trust.
Many Dudley people love their dogs - as do I as a former dog owner - and the harm that comes to smuggled puppies is appalling.
I am delighted to support the Dogs Trust in their mission to end puppy smuggling, and I hope to see much needed legislation to tackle this issue on the horizon soon.
